Aprende, Inc. (together with MCCA Gastronomica Internacional LLC, “Aprende,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values ​​your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, protect and disclose personally identifiable information and data (“Personal Information”) when you use the Aprende website at https://healthcare.aprende.com/ and associated mobile and other applications and services (the “Site”), or any of our services, including, without limitation, our educational course offerings or any online purchases on our Site (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy is subject to the Terms and Conditions that govern any of the Services. By accessing or using the Site or the Services, you consent to and agree to be bound by this Policy and, depending on the Services, the relevant Terms and Conditions.

Who is collecting your information
The Site is operated by Aprende, Inc., which is the controller of all personal information collected through the Site and the Services. This Policy applies solely to the Site and the Services.

Managing Your Information Preferences
You may request to review, correct, update, change, or delete the Personal Information you provided to us by writing to datos@aprende.com . We will respond to your requests within the time period required by applicable law, or if a time period is not specified, we will make reasonable efforts to respond within thirty (30) days of receipt of the request, subject to any limitations in applicable law. We reserve the right to deny any request if permitted by applicable law.

Information we collect

1. Personal Information We Collect Directly From You

We collect Personal Information that you choose to provide to us, such as when you register for our Services, including your name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, and a username and password that you create for your account (collectively, “Registration Information”). When you register for our Services, we ask for your consent to send you marketing emails. You may revoke this consent at any time by writing to delete@aprende.com .

We also collect Personal Information when you use or make an online purchase through any of our Services. Although you will be asked to provide your credit card or other payment information, we use third-party payment processors to process payments and therefore do not have access to or store your payment information. We collect information about your transactions on our Services (the “Transaction Information”) that we use for marketing and promotions, and to develop and improve our products and services.

We also collect Personal Information when you participate in our online courses, complete homework, tests, and other educational assignments through our services, as well as Personal Information that you share with instructors and tutors through our services. We also collect Personal Information when we communicate with you or you communicate with us through our call center; we record those calls for quality control, training, and record keeping purposes.

From time to time, our Site may request Personal Information from you via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary. Survey Personal Information will be collected and used for the purpose of monitoring or improving the use, features, and performance of the Site and our Services.

If you have granted permission through your mobile device to allow us to collect location information through the Application, we may obtain your physical location information in terms of latitude and longitude from technologies such as GPS, Wi-Fi, or proximity to cell towers. You may withdraw your permission for us to obtain such physical location information from your mobile device through your mobile device settings, although we do not control this process.
