INTRODUCTION
Aprende, Inc. (together with MCCA Gastronomica Internacional LLC, “Aprende,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy. In this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”), we describe what information we collect from you, why we collect and use it, and how you can manage, export, and delete your information. “You” or “Your” refers to you, a user of our Site or the Services.
This Policy explains how we collect, use, protect and disclose personally identifiable information and data (“Personal Information”) when you use the Aprende website at https://healthcare.aprende.com/ and associated mobile and other applications and services (the “Site”), or any of our services, including, without limitation, our educational course offerings or any online purchases on our Site (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy is subject to the Terms and Conditions that govern any of the Services. By accessing or using the Site or the Services, you consent to and agree to be bound by this Policy and, depending on the Services, the relevant Terms and Conditions.
Who is collecting your information
The Site is operated by Aprende, Inc., which is the controller of all personal information collected through the Site and the Services. This Policy applies solely to the Site and the Services.
Managing Your Information Preferences
You may request to review, correct, update, change, or delete the Personal Information you provided to us by writing to datos@aprende.com . We will respond to your requests within the time period required by applicable law, or if a time period is not specified, we will make reasonable efforts to respond within thirty (30) days of receipt of the request, subject to any limitations in applicable law. We reserve the right to deny any request if permitted by applicable law.
Information we collect
1. Personal Information We Collect Directly From You
We collect Personal Information that you choose to provide to us, such as when you register for our Services, including your name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, and a username and password that you create for your account (collectively, “Registration Information”). When you register for our Services, we ask for your consent to send you marketing emails. You may revoke this consent at any time by writing to delete@aprende.com .
We also collect Personal Information when you use or make an online purchase through any of our Services. Although you will be asked to provide your credit card or other payment information, we use third-party payment processors to process payments and therefore do not have access to or store your payment information. We collect information about your transactions on our Services (the “Transaction Information”) that we use for marketing and promotions, and to develop and improve our products and services.
We also collect Personal Information when you participate in our online courses, complete homework, tests, and other educational assignments through our services, as well as Personal Information that you share with instructors and tutors through our services. We also collect Personal Information when we communicate with you or you communicate with us through our call center; we record those calls for quality control, training, and record keeping purposes.
From time to time, our Site may request Personal Information from you via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary. Survey Personal Information will be collected and used for the purpose of monitoring or improving the use, features, and performance of the Site and our Services.
2. Information we collect automatically
We may automatically collect the following Personal Information about your use of our Site or the Services through cookies and other technologies such as: your domain name; your browser type and operating system; the web pages you visit; links you click; your IP address; your mobile device identifier; the amount of time you visit our Site or the Services; and the referring URL, or web page that referred you to our Site (collectively, “Usage Data”). We may combine this Usage Data with other information we have collected about you, including, where applicable, your Personal Information. We use Usage Data to help us understand how people use the Site and the Services, and to improve our Site and the Services we offer.
We also store your IP address to track the performance of our advertising on third-party sites, such as when a user clicks through an advertisement on a third-party site to sign up for our Services. We may share this data with the providers of the third-party sites solely to track and monitor the performance of such advertising.
Geolocation . If you have granted permission through your mobile device to allow us to collect location information through the Application, we may obtain your physical location information in terms of latitude and longitude from technologies such as GPS, Wi-Fi, or proximity to cell towers. You may withdraw your permission for us to obtain such physical location information from your mobile device through your mobile device settings, although we do not control this process. If you have questions about disabling location services on your mobile device, we recommend that you contact your service provider or mobile device manufacturer.
3. How we use your information
We use your Personal Information for the following business purposes:
- To provide our Site and the Services to you, to optimize and fulfill your online orders through our Site, to communicate with you about your use of our Site and the Services, to respond to your inquiries, and for other customer service purposes.
- To provide our educational courses and to administer and maintain records of your participation and performance in those courses.
- To personalize the content and information we may send or display to you, offer you location customization, personalized assistance and instruction, connect you with our instructors and tutors, and otherwise personalize your experiences while using our Site or the Services.
- To notify you about marketing opportunities and promotions that we and our promotional partners offer. 4. How we share your information

- Promotional Partners. We may share your Personal Information with our promotional partners so that they can send you marketing emails about their products and services. We require those promotional partners to ensure that they protect and comply with applicable laws when using your Personal Information.

We may disclose Personal Information we collect from you to our affiliates; however, if we do so, they will maintain the use and disclosure of your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy. For example, we disclose Personal Information to our affiliate that operates our call center so that it can respond to inquiries and requests for support and Services.

For example, we may engage Service Providers to provide certain services, such as teaching and instruction, hosting and maintenance, data storage and management, property management, and marketing and promotions. We only provide our Service Providers with information or access to information that is necessary for them to perform these services on our behalf. Each Service Provider must agree to use commercially reasonable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information involved, to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized acquisition, access, use or disclosure. Service Providers may only use Personal Information to provide services to Aprende and are prohibited from using Personal Information in any manner other than as authorized by Aprende under this Privacy Policy. - Business Transfers. If we are acquired by or merged with another company, if substantially all of our assets are transferred to another company or as part of bankruptcy proceedings, or if we are in negotiations regarding such a transaction, we may transfer the Personal Information we have collected about you to the other company or legal entity.
- In Response to Legal Process. We may disclose Personal Information we collect about you in order to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, court order, or other legal process, such as in response to a subpoena.
- For our protection and the protection of others. We may also disclose Personal Information we collect about you where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities or security breaches, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of the Terms and Conditions applicable to the Services provided through this Site or this Policy, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.

Service Providers. We retain Personal Information about you for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which such information was collected, typically for the duration of any contractual relationship or as long as you use or are registered for any of the Services and for any period thereafter as legally required or permitted by applicable law. Our retention policies respect statutes of limitations and applicable legal requirements.
6. Our use of cookies and other tracking mechanisms
We and our Service Providers use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking mechanisms to track information about your use of our Site and the Services. We may combine this information with other Personal Information we collect about you (and our Service Providers may do so on our behalf).
Currently, our systems do not recognize browser “do not track” requests. However, you may disable certain tracking as described in this section (e.g., by disabling cookies), but such disabling will impact your use of the Site and Services.

9. Children's privacy
We do not intend for our websites or other online services to knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly allow anyone under the age of 18 to disclose their Personal Information to us through our Site. Our Site is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older and who are permitted to share their Personal Information without parental consent. West Street, Suite 1200, Wilmington, DE, 19801. Please include your name, address and telephone number, or email in all communications and clearly state the nature of your request. The Company will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes regarding use and disclosure of Personal Information in accordance with the principles contained in this Policy within thirty (30) days of receipt of the complaint, unless a shorter period is required by law.
13. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to change this Policy, we will notify you by posting the revised Policy on the Site. For those who have registered for our Services, we will send notice to the address provided in your account; you should ensure that your address is current and correct. Any changes will become effective on the “Revised” effective date shown on the revised Policy. By continuing to use the Site or Services, you agree to the revised Policy.

Although we do not sell consumers' Personal Information for monetary consideration, out of an abundance of caution and in accordance with Nevada law, any Nevada consumer who wishes to opt out of the sale of Personal Information may submit a request to us by contacting us at datos@aprende.com .
